Penny Poker
As Sky Poker offer pound sterling tables it makes sense for them to offer penny poker tables. They offer tables starting at just 2p/4p blinds (unfortunately no 1p blinds). This is probably too low to get a serious game though. The pot is not often going to get over a pound so you will get called. Bluffing would be as hard as it is when playing for fake money.
Playing 10 penny poker is more worth while. The pots are much bigger and the scope for bluffing is much more. Still the stakes will be at a level where some people will call regardless. It will be good practice for the higher stakes table though.
You will get much weaker players on these penny tables. If you were any good, why waste your time playing for pence when you can play for pounds? Its sometimes much harder to play against a weak player as they will call with anything and are much harder to read. Its sometimes more of a lottery than a game of skill. Its just like playing on the free tables. Well not quite but you will get people making relatively big raises with nothing as the amount of money being played for is trivial.
If you sign up to play penny poker, you still get the mega £500 sign up bonus potential. Its doubtful you will qualify for the full bonus if you only play penny poker. You need to be playing for the higher 50p/ Pound tables to do that.
